As the Jap call it, NETTOBUKKU SUTANDO, equipped with an optical drive as well as a dedicated slot for an external harddisk. It also has a cooling fan that can be adjusted. Looks typically like any notebook cooling pad but a far more sophisticated one. I certainly hope that there’s one that could fit a 12’ laptop and is available in Malaysia. Or maybe I can DIY one. Getting stuck in the jam for hours is really a total pain in the ass. I’d really think twice the next time anyone invites me for road trips during Public Holiday period.

This time we had a Toyota Altis ferrying 4 adults and a kid throughout the trip. Although it wasn’t at all cramped but it wasn’t very comfortable either. It got me thinking how nice if I could be in a MPV. Something that could fit 7-8 people comfortably without having everyone squeezing themselves until you could barely move your ass. I couldn't stop dreaming taking a nap on the body hugging seat of the spacious MPV while I could still have enough space to do a little stretching when I wake up. :P Maybe I could get one of these...

Nissan Serena C24
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 203px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/Sf7jWFvuS6I/AAAAAAAAAIU/ycieLe9_xmI/s320/serena.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331948977492216738" />
145hp 2L QR20DE engine, seems to be pretty sufficient. I'm pretty happy with what I have for now. Guess it'd only be applicable maybe in the next 2-3 years time. Back to the trip, it was quite an interesting one, although bored at times. The weather was really cooling and I'm sure I enjoyed that a lot. I managed to also spend sometime with people that I hardly speak to, who would one day be my family and I think it was great that the trip had made us closer (at least a wee bit lah…hehe).

Work Out Hazard...

I’ve been working on my stamina for quite a while and as usual, whenever I’m at the gym I’d be spending most of my time on the treadmill.

Just couple of days ago I was very determined to do the 10km jog again, started off slowly but still on a jogging pace and throughout the initial 30 minutes everything went really well. I was very confident that I could complete it without slowing down to walking speed.

An Indian dude came next to me about 20 minutes after I started. Usually I wouldn’t bother about anyone while I was at the treadmill. Furthermore I’m so determined that I was only minding my own business making sure that I stay focus at all time.

And this is when things get really bad, suddenly I smell something really terrible. The dude was breathing heavily and his breath smells so bad that my pace was all messed up. I tried my very best to keep focus for about 10 minutes and finally I couldn’t take it anymore, had to end the whole session at about 4km++. It’s rather disappointed that I was distracted but man, the smell can really kill. What a bad day. *sigh*

New Toy In da House!!!

It’s was quite a while since I was contemplating to get a netbook and the urge kinda went away when I was told that I will be been given a laptop at work. I’m currently prepping up my work laptop so I’ll be leaving the desktop world for good very soon. What was even better is that I managed to get hold of a Dell Latitude D420 and I’m rather happy because all this while my plan was to get a light weight laptop for personal use. I’ve never used a 12’ lappy so I was quite surprised and satisfied with its 3.1 lbs @ approximately 1.4kg weight. Although it isn’t a really very light one compare to those in the current trend.

I played a little trick on my mom and the previous owner and there you go. I’ve got a light weight laptop that I can use. My old faithful Toshiba will be fixed and pass to my mom since she’s more of a beginner. And she definitely needs a much bigger screen. “Ma, let me take care of the small one ok?” hahaha…ok, I know it isn’t a very new model, infact it was a 2006 model and bought in 2007, so it’s about 2 years old. I’m thinking maybe I could run it on XP and dual boot it with Ubuntu. Upgrade the RAM to 2GB and I guess it’s good to go as a casual lappy. The only draw back is that it runs on a smaller size 1.8’ hardisk rather than the regular 2.5’ notebook harddisk and I still have to get an external DVD combo drive to go with it. Although I’d really want to install it with Vista but I’m just too skeptical. I shall wait till Windows 7 is officially launched.

Old habit dies hard, with money saved for not getting a netbook I’m thinking of MacBook now. For further details please visit HERE. I prefer not to have any of these pictures posted here though.

I’m sure many people suffer such growth but have you ever thought of removing it? It is rather unnecessary to most men as they don’t exactly shave their armpits (assuming we’re talking about armpit skin tags). Anyway I had a couple and I usually wouldn’t be bothered about it until recently I noticed one that was rather obvious when I took off my shirt.

I’ve been told that you can have them removed in a clinic or by a dermatologist but the services do not come free. The cheaper alternative is to actually have them removed by yourself at your very own home.

Did a little study over the Internet and I decided to actually use the method of tying the base of the skin tag with a dental floss and let it dry up by itself, and eventually it’ll fall off without you even noticing it.

My experience was that I had it tied for 2 days and I could feel a little irritation because there is still a small little wound on the base part where the floss is, I know that you could just clip it off with a scissor or something but I was such a “pussy”... :P On the third day I couldn’t take it anymore, it dried up a little bit but was getting more and more irritating whenever I move my arm. Got too frustrated so I hold on to it real tight and give it a quick pull, surprisingly a little pinch pain and the whole thing just came off!

Put on a little aloe vera cream and I’m so relief now. I don't really recommend you to follow what I've done though as it has higher risk of getting an infection.

Windows Live Messenger 2009 – CRAP! – Part 2

Here’s an update on my WLM problem. As you know I’ve downgraded to WLM 8.0 and it was working fine. I was relieved, disconnected the Internet and took a break. Made a phone call and I was back on my laptop again.

Reconnected the Internet and @(&*^@*($^@*&$@*($@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The freaking problem came back!!!!!!!!

Tried the MSN troubleshooting tool = key ports failed...what the hell is a keyport?!?!

Clicked repair...but was given with useless links...

Anyway, this is what I’ve done so far,

Click Start, then Run, and enter the following:

regsvr32 softpub.dll

regsvr32 wintrust.dll

regsvr32 initpki.dll

Off my Windows firewall and antivirus (Kaspersky Anti Virus 7.0)

Checked system time and date

All the above won’t work! I finally reinstalled WLM 8.0 again and now I’m able to sign in. This wouldn’t be good if I have to keep reinstalling the WLM every time I reconnect my Internet connection so I had to think harder to solve this problem.

I’ve rechecked my Kaspersky AV, added C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe to the trusted zone and unchecked "used proxy server" on Kaspersky settings. Redialed Internet and it seems to be working. Tested it again this morning and it was still OK. WLM in office is working too.

Conclusion?
I have no freaking idea, high chances that it could be our beloved Streamyx service (ISP) and I sure hope that I won’t need to go through this shit again.

Windows Live Messenger 2009 – CRAP! - Part 1

I was very happy with MSN 8.0 until one day it started prompting me to upgrade to the latest 2009 version. I was hesitating initially but I ended up clicking the “upgrade” button because it was really annoying.

Everything was working fine until 30 minutes ago; I couldn’t sign in to my MSN! From the MSN troubleshooting tool it says that a firewall or the proxy setting is incorrect. It gives an error code of 8100306. My cousin had the same error a week ago and it seems that there is nothing you could do to solve it. Off the Windows firewall or even stopping the antivirus. I just can’t find any solution! I’ve googled on it but nothing seems to work. I ended up downloading the older version of MSN and reinstalling it. Restarted the computer, VIOLA!!! I’m connected!

Blardy piece of shit…I know it doesn’t exactly solve the problem but two incidents in a row with the new 2009 version?! I think I’d just stay with the old one for now. So to you guys out there who are having similar problem, uninstall the damn thing and revert back to 8.0. I can't guarantee a confirm fix but I hope it helps.

Additional notes: to uninstall WLM 2009, go to your Add or Remove Programs and double click on “Windows Live Essentials”. Check “Messenger” and just follow the regular steps. Hehe.

Anyway, April fool’s day is here!!! But there isn’t much to talk about. April fool’s day was more important when I was younger. HAHA...Today seems to be a day that brings me a lot of old memories. It is also the death day of Leslie Cheung. Can you believe that it’s been 6 years since his death? This thought actually reminded me of the one major incident that I remember the most. The September 11, 2001 attack in New York, I still remember clearly I was relaxing at home at the very same place that I am sitting right now, checking on my Province in the online game Utopia. An American mate from the same kingdom in Utopia sent me a link of a news website. I thought the attack was some prank joke initially but I was kinda shocked after I saw the news on TV.

The September 11 incident did not directly or indirectly affected anything around me but it was one of the incidents that I have a strong memory on. While you enjoy the memorable song from Leslie Cheung below, I bet some of you also remember the 2 girls who were quite popular in Asia back then. Check it out!

I feel old…very old…:(

My First Quarter Marathon…

Quarter Marathon, something that is a total stranger to me until I saw the BHPetrol Orange Run 2009 link posted up by a friend in his Facebook page.

Orange Run which is an annual event on the BHPetrol calendar will be held for the fourth time this year. The Run which is scheduled on 12 April 2009 (Sunday)

I’ve never heard of a quarter marathon though, only half marathon or a full marathon. Never knew it even exist...hahaha...I’ve had a thought last year that I might want to take part in a walk, or maybe a half marathon but I was too unfit to do so. I started going to the gym middle of last year so I thought since there’s an 11km run, maybe I could give it a trial run at the treadmill and see if I’m capable of doing so.

Off I go to the gym, started off with the speed at 5.5km/h (3% gradient), took on a 10 minutes each of jog and walk interval on my first hour. With jogging at 7km/h and walking at the speed ranges from 4.5 - 5.5km/h.

I reached the 7km mark not long after my first hour and continued with only walking speed as I was already running out of breath. Increased the gradient to 6% while I was walking and catching up my breath. Then I finished off the last 2km with 8km/h at 0% gradient. Completing the whole 11km run with the time of 1hr 57minutes. Approximately 4 times slower than the world marathon record. HAHA...During my second hour walk I could feel a little pain on my left ankle but surprisingly my left knee which has been aching once in a while had no problem through the whole 11km.

The result wasn’t at all great but I’m happy that at least I could complete the whole 11km walk/run. I was totally drained after the session. I guess I could plan for a next session and see if I can improve. I’m still thinking if I should join the Orang Run 2009 but I’m contemplating since it’ll be held in just 2 weeks time.

Nice Number Plate there...

Saw this Subaru Impreza WRX STI Version 8 the other day when I was on my way to work. I wasn’t really following the news so I wasn’t exactly aware of such event until my dearest told me about it couple of weeks back. While browsing through The Star Online the other day I saw this so-called opinion posted up by this dude named Marcus from Petaling Jaya.

I’m not hardcore pro Earth Hour but I think it’s quite a good idea to educate the people about global warming. It is rather sad that he thinks that this event is just a publicity stunt. I personally find that the way he voice out his opinion is just so childish and immature. He doesn’t exactly see the purpose of such event. It is to create awareness! It’s a part of the effort to pass the message to every person in the world to be aware of the effect of global warming. Every bodies/organization could do their part to save the world! (Fuh…I feel like I’m one of those super heroes now…haha)

Anyway, I guess he can have all his opinion to himself. I hope he isn’t one of those guys who would just know how to “tell” their opinion in the newspaper trying to be glamour and not do anything about it. I would usually take a close look to see if there’s any sign that it’s being driven by a handicapped driver. The handicapped lot in the car park that I frequent is always occupied, and I’ve only seen once that it is being utilized by the “right” person. Most of the time it’d be occupied by those mentally handicapped assholes who thinks that their RMX parking fee has so much higher value compare to anyone of us and they deserves to have the closest parking lot to the lift. Such ignorant and unethical behavior. I'm happy that there are still people who share the same thoughts as me though. GO TO HELL SCUMBAGS!!! Hehe.

Anyway, I’m happy that I’m gaining more readers in my blog. Thank you! Although it isn’t great, but at least it’s still better than no reader at all. I was also able to pick up some information on the processes and it gave me a brief idea on what should I do if I were to get married in the future. Haha.

Later in the evening the guys suggested to go for a golfing session at the driving range. It was also my 1st time playing golf. Initially everything went pretty smooth, everyone was having fun. Half way through the session I made a freaking huge mistake. I’ve heard real stories of people died being hit by golf clubs and I was trying really hard not to kill anyone. During one of the swing I actually lost grip of the club and it just took off from my hands. I looked back immediately and saw it flying up and I think the club was thrown off approximately 20m away from me. The first thing that came into my mind was if there is anyone near where it landed. Then I saw a guy (who was also practicing at the driving range) looking towards my direction with his eye rolled really big because the club fell just around 5 steps off where he was standing! I felt more guilt rather than embarrassment. Quickly I ran towards him, apologized and picked up the club. Although I continued acting cool and my mates just laughed it off later on; I felt really bad, imagine if the club went straight to my mate’s direction and I would probably be the person who kill his friend on the day his friend got married. -_-“

2009 F1…

Despite being a motorhead myself, F1 isn't really my cup of tea. Once in a while I would watch some of those races whenever there’s a chance but sometimes the races can be just too boring because of the long hours and lack of actions. Worst still they're always on weekend when I have to give higher priority to my other "Interest" of my life. :P I would prefer watching automobile television series like Top Gear though. I came across with something pretty interesting from this short video in Youtube briefly introducing the new F1 rule in 2009.

Narrated by Sebastian Vettel, the youngest F1 race winner in 2008 from Germany. It's rather exciting when he says “Come back after 11 years, SLICKS. No grooves, better grip, and much more fun”. Many would agree with me that running on slicks would really stick a vehicle on the ground so much so that your car would probably topple over rather than skidding when you accidentally turn too hard…hehe...

KERS, transfering kinetic power to electrical power and gives the car a sudden boost up to 82 horse power with a press of a button. Very interesting as I think it’s quite a good use compare to NOS. If it’s allowed anyway. :P

So guys...check out the video to find out more of the changes in 2009 F1!

Privacy No More?

Regardless of whatever reason it may be. I have no respect for the person be it a man or a woman who takes and distribute nude photos of their former partners. It is even more disgraceful that some people actually do not mind having their nude photos/videos taken by their partner. What exactly is the purpose? I could not think of ANY reason at all for such action. If you are so in love with each other, you can make love to each other every minute and you can even walk around naked when the 2 of you are alone in the house. Or you think your partner fondling him/herself while looking at your nude picture is particularly “hot”? It seems that everyone gets so horny that they can't realize the risk that they’re taking. Your photos could be leaked out to the public. What if the camera/laptop is stolen? Lost? Somehow or rather I think people nowadays do not realize how powerful the Internet is even after all those shit that happened to many celebrities or politicians. There’s always a chance or a loop hole for your private information being distributed or being obtained. But...people just love to take advantage on LUCK.

At the end of the day, it is our own responsibility to ensure our privacy is being protected. One very fine example would be that you’re giving out a lot of personal information in those infamous social network websites such as Facebook or Friendster only wanting its advantages but not being able to understand the risk you are putting yourself into. There should always be a balance in it.

LV For You?

A friend sent me these pictures. My previous 2 visits were quite an experience which I’ve not encountered for quite sometimes.

First scene:
Me: Boss, telur stengah masak dua…milo kosong ice…
Mamak: OK!
Me: EEEHHH…nanti nanti nanti…tak mau telur stengah masak…roti telur boleh? Tambah bawang ya!
Mamak: OK boleh…tunggu skijap ah…

I was served the half boiled eggs, together with the roti telur after 10 minutes.

Me: Eh boss? Tadi cakap tak mau telur stengah masak…lu cakap ok?
Mamak: aiyo…yakar?
Me: Yalah…banyak apa macam mau habis?
Mamak: ah takpalah...sudah angkat…u makan saja lah…*with a blardy cocky face”

If it was in the afternoon or at night I would have talked to him nicely but it was early in the morning, I was moody and he gave me that piece of cocky ass face. Being an egg fan myself it would not be satisfying to eat something that’s not what it should be. I called the dude who served the noodles to me and asked him.

Me: Bang, ni telur mata kerbau apa ni?

That bugger gave me a hard stare and just walk away! @$*(&@(*&(!!!!

What the crap man…can’t he just maybe apologize or something? Let’s just start with my newly bought SonicGear Ego 3nity 2.1 computer speaker system. It was actually an impulsive purchase when I went to LowYat Plaza to help my dad purchase a desktop. I’ve been using my trusty old school Altec Lansing ACS45 for easily 7-8 years and it’s still pumping strong. I’ve always been thinking if I should replace them but I’m not really a serious music listener or a fussy audio fan. So I thought something that looks cool would be nice as the ACS45 is turning really yellowish and ugly as it ages. The 3nity looks rather nice and cost only RM50.

I happily bought them home, unbox them and have them plugged in properly. The first thing I heard was “zzzhhhiiiii…zzhhhiieee…” *crap!!! I think it’s spoilt!*. So I played around with the cables and had it on and off a few times. After a few rounds of slapping it, unplugging and re-plugging, finally it works! BUT!!! As soon as I touch or move the cable, it’ll just go back to “zzzhhhiiiii…zzhhhiieee…zzzhhhiiiii…zzhhhiieee…”

After I got them back from warranty claim, immediately I could realize how bad it sounds compares to my ACS45 the moment I had them plugged in, the bass wasn’t strong enough, I had the bass tuned to the max and it could not even match my ACS45 on 15% bass volume level!

The satellite speakers alone are acceptable though. I would say it’s a waste of time buying these speakers. If you prefer something cool, you can opt for some pretty good looking 2.0 speakers that would perform way better than this thing. Oh well, I suppose RM50 for some decoration is not exactly wasted. HAHA..next challenge is I’m still not too sure what should I do with my ACS45 now.

Old School Altec Lansing ACS45
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SYszuj9dCmI/AAAAAAAAAHE/sPMcwUzN_jU/s320/acs45.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299386261551516258" />

What a Perfect Start of the Year...

First week of Chinese New Year was pretty crappy for me, it started badly and I hope it’ll improve over time and end without any problem. I want to think that I will suffer at the beginning and enjoy the good as time passes by. Then I lost quite some amount of money during CNY gambling session. Few days ago I’ve visited Sushi King in Section 14, PJ with a few friends; lately I’ve been craving for salmon sushi until I totally forgotten about my last experience with Sushi King. As I browse through the menu, Una Don attracted my attention and I thought maybe I can give it a try again and see if it’s the same thing that would be served to me.
I was quite surprised to see a full bowl of rice with the usual 4 pieces of Unagi being brought up to me. Portion is the same as it used to but this time probably the chef who prepared it forgot to put enough Unagi sauce. It was pretty dry but I’m still very much happy because the portion is just nice. It was being served in a bowl which was very much “deeper” than the one in MidValley. I usually would patron the Sushi King outlet on the top floor of MidValley. Looks like I should just stick to the top floor outlet rather than the one below.

Netbook Temptation...

Chinese New Year is around the corner and I’ve just gotten my bonus last month. It isn’t much but I’ve been thinking that I should spend myself something nice after deducting off the savings portion. After all, I did not shop for new cloths or anything for this New Year anyway. And…I’ve got to make full use of the entitlement for the income tax rebate. (well you can come out with ALL sorts of reason when you know you want something no matter how...hahaha..)

I’ve always been looking out for a netbook but I just can’t accept the idea of spending off a chunk of my "already-not-enough-savings". It’s been tempting me on and off until last week my boss told me that I would be given a company laptop. Then I can sell off my old school Toshiba and get a netbook for secondary use. It felt like as if the netbook in Lowyat Plaza is screaming at me begging me to bring her home. Hahaha.

With my months of research over the available netbooks in the market, initially I was hooked to the ASUS N10J which technically to some people, is not exactly categorized as a netbook but it’s the best spec-ed 10’ laptop for me. Unfortunately the hefty price tag turns me off. So off I go looking for other alternatives.

I’ve now filtered my selection to either the Lenovo S10 or the HP Mini 1000. The difference between both of them is that the S10 has better spec whereas the HP Mini emphasizes on design and usability. Seeing how thin the HP Mini is as well as its big keyboard really made me drool. Not forgetting the funky pattern embedded on its lid.

Now the final question. “Should I? or Should I not?” -_-"

S10
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 222px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SXmynD1jcOI/AAAAAAAAAG0/YgBn45vYns8/s320/s10.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294459221065298146" />
HP Mini 1000
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SXmywUd_I_I/AAAAAAAAAG8/G4rHTceAgvg/s320/hp+mini.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294459380148675570" />

Back Again from Mars...

Again I went off to Mars and now return home. Haha. The end of 2008 was pretty good for me and definitely a VERY busy one as well. Went on a trip to Pulau Langkawi with a bunch of old schoolmates and managed to refrained myself from getting drunk. Got myself tanned up and I’m now suffering from the skin-peeling effect even after 2 weeks.

2009 was pretty busy too as I started off the beginning of the year with 2 wedding dinners to attend and now I’m back to my daily routine work but a MUCH busier one. Having great colleagues who you could work together very well is really a blessing. The Superwoman of my office has gone off on a 2 weeks leave and I have to make sure everything runs smoothly while taking over her work.

For the first time in my entirely life, I’m putting down my New Year resolutions in black and white form. I’m not going to put too much stress to myself though.

I need to be certified by this year regardless of certification.
I will be more patients with my colleagues.
I will put in more effort at work and show significant contribution.
I will lose more weight! (5kg by the end of the year, hopefully 10kg…haha)
I will expand my source of income. (Still under planning)

So…we shall we how would I score at the end of the year.

Since Chinese New Year is around the corner. I would also like to wish all fellow Chinese Gong Xi Fa Chai, safe trip to whomever who travels during the holiday and have a great year ahead.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 317px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SW8i9JF3D9I/AAAAAAAAAGs/gkByMHV6rFE/s320/chinese-new-year.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5291486520991485906" />

Effect of Economy Downturn???

Sushi King has always been one of my favourite Japanese food outlets for quite some years. It has been a while since I last visited them so I thought it’ll be nice to give them a visit again during my last minute shopping in MidValley few days ago.

Ordered an Una Don and the moment it was served to me, I think it was 30% lesser than the last time I had it. (If my memory serves me right)

I immediately asked the waiter why it was only half filled and all he could respond was just a “sorry” smile.

Could it be that the recession is already hitting us? Or the chef was just too hungry while preparing my food? I would personally think that the chef wasn’t really trained enough that he/she could have wrongly estimated the right proportion of the food he/she should prepare. I sure hope so.

Maybe a second chance next time to see if it’s true.

These pictures were taken right at the moment it was served to me.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVR4FsnWQZI/AAAAAAAAAGk/yOxPb0Jccng/s320/DSC00597.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283980302083309970" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVR3xIqWZ6I/AAAAAAAAAGc/dNDvbEc2h1o/s320/DSC00598.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283979948834842530" />

My First Outing Blog Entry…

Usually I would blog at home or either in my office during my free time. Today, as of now, I’m actually sitting in a fully air conditioned guest lounge of a detailing shop in Sunway surfing around with it’s free WiFi. Pretty interesting experience because I hardly bring my laptop out to anywhere mainly due to the fact that my laptop is fucking ugly. It has a defected LCD screen, very dirty keypads, and the fully charged battery finishes in 50 minutes of usage.

I had no choice because my detailing session would take 3-4 hours and there’s nothing much here within the walking distance range. I’m glad I decided to bring my laptop. They even allow me to use their power source!

Maybe I shall try Starbucks or something next time…

Your friend??? So???

PC Fair has just passed few weeks back and as usual, most forums would have those booth babes pictures uploaded for the forum members to “appreciate”. It is very common and normal to have dudes checking them out and commenting on the ladies. One that would actually annoy the hell out of me is when someone posted a picture of a booth babe; he would go like “HEY!!! That’s my friend. You took her picture! GOSH! I didn’t know she’s so pretty now!” -,-

Who cares if she’s your friend? Why would you get so excited if you see your friend’s picture in a forum?

“HEY! She’s my friend; we used to hang out together.” SO???? Did I ask?

Until you actually say “Hey! I can hook you up with her!”, I don’t think anyone would be interested to know whether any of the ladies is your friend or not.

Some eye candy for you below...

Maria Ozawa look-alike?
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 213px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVE0oYNVagI/AAAAAAAAAGM/-G8v1r3AT-o/s320/DSC_0087.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283061706180094466" />
The original Maria
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 303px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVE0uzHs5iI/AAAAAAAAAGU/CY5v0OIHs3M/s320/maria-ozawa-4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283061816483440162" />

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tunabread.blogspot.com/2008/12/your-friend-so.html' title='Your friend??? Japanese Anime Figures! I’ve seen them while window shopping in our neighboring shopping malls but didn’t really take a closer look at them. What attracted my attention were the details on them that are so fine that you can actually strip them down to only their panties. Checked out one of the popular local forum and there are actually males who get so attracted to these figures that they would spend thousands of Ringgit to collect them, probably even to “relief’ themselves while ogling at them I suppose? HAHA.

But I must say some of them are really some nice art pieces. I wouldn’t mind having a couple of them if it’s cheap. Which I think it’d be the opposite.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVEwJe2BBEI/AAAAAAAAAF8/c_WWiFB9hPQ/s320/DIK%2520(1).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283056777338881090" />
Before

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SVEwQU7bqEI/AAAAAAAAAGE/N3WCBHp2blQ/s320/DIK%2520(21).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283056894936328258" />
After

Pretty cool huh?

Sincere Apologies…

Initially I did not think about blogging this out but to use the usual way of writing an email. But I decided to try something new since the intended receiver of my apologies is also my reader. This will also serves as a reminder for me to not repeat my mistake again.

I would like to apologize to my beloved “other half” for my immaturity last Saturday. I have not thought of the difficulties and how struggling you are over the passed few months with your work and made a stupid comment that hurts your feeling. I am so sorry and I promise that it will never happen again. Regardless of whatever reason that causes me to make such “complain”, it is unacceptable. I will make sure that I am always the person who you would be able to rely on in whatever situation it may be.

Although you may have forgiven me for such immature act, and however brief this message is, I want to say this again. “My dearest, I’m sorry”.

Muaks!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 250px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SUVZn2nXMtI/AAAAAAAAAF0/GmpjyUsOTbM/s320/sorry.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5279724679372157650" />

Rice Fried with Pork Oil?

As a tattoo person myself, I tend to spend a little more time admiring other people’s work of art. Was really occupied lately, partially due to the busy-ness from my grandmother's funeral. There were so many things to do! *May you rest in peace Mama.*

I have a habit of thinking out what to blog whenever something happen around me. I just kinda went empty lately. Another reason for the 2 weeks of missing new post.

I just got myself a pair of Oakley Fives 3.0 (Asian Fit). Loving it everyday. I need better camera to take good picture man. In the mean time, this is how it looks like.

Ever since I came back to work from my compassionate leave I've been researching a lot on my newly acquired OLD HP TC1100 tablet PC. And I foresee myself spending a little time with the LeRun mountain bike I'm going to collect over the weekend as well..hehe..

Looks like I'm getting myself really busy with leisure. Gotta prep myself up to face the heavy workload next year. :P Not forgetting my business plan and of course, something that's coming this weekend too (not the bike-lah!).

Can you stop crapping?

While I was on the way to work today, as usual I’ve got my radio turned on. The radio DJ was reading out SMS sent from listeners.

(Briefly translated from Mandarin)
DJ: Ah, this is from XXX and she said, “I would like to wish those who’re at work to have a great day and hope that time passes by as quick as possible since today is Friday.”
DJ: Do you know that every seconds and minutes are fair to everyone. There’s no such thing as time passes quicker. Ha ha ha…

WTF!? Do you think your listeners are dumb? I always think that she’s one fucking annoying bitch, that statement totally hit the annoyed limit of my life! She always likes to laugh to her own stupid jokes which I don’t find them funny at all! She must have one hell of a high self esteem. And not "GTA that includes Brampton, Kenora, and, like, Iqaluit" Toronto, just plain, regular Toronto. It is situated at the tip of Malaysia, a country of which it was a part until 1965. At this point, rather than fighting an epic independence struggle with a Gandhi-esque leader, Singapore was kicked out of its own country. The Malaysian PM liked his chances in the next election if he removed a state won by the opposition. So he just did that, without really consulting the Singaporeans. So Singapore is the only country to become independent against its own wishes. The PM cried on TV when announcing it. It is hard for me not to find that cute.”

Source

This article is written by a foreigner who moved to Singapore for a student exchange program. I personally have a few friends working in Singapore but I do not exactly have a Singaporean friend. Somehow it makes me wonder how true the histories are being taught to our children. We Malaysians were taught that Singapore wanted to separate from Malaysia but the Singaporeans are being told otherwise. Removing a state just to win an election? I think that’s a little exaggerating but who knows…………………………

What are your thoughts?

EPF Dilemma...

Our so-called soon to be Mr. Prime Minister had announced a reduction of employee’s EPF contribution from 11% to 8%.

Source

It’s been quite a discussion everywhere, everyone is voicing out their opinions on such arrangement by the government. Personally I don’t see why people are making a big fuss out of it. First, this reduction is intended to increase disposable income of the people, to encourage the growth of economy in order to reduce the effect of recession. Whether recession is going to hit us or not that’ll be a different story all together. I’m not an expert nor do I know a lot about the economy, but the idea of having more cash flow transfers in the market would benefit the economy is rather true.

Some people may say the 3% reduction is insignificant and it will reduce the savings of their retirement days. I truly believe that this 3% could make into good use if one is discipline enough. At the end of the day the 8% + 3% would still be at your hand. You can choose to invest the 3%; you can choose to pay off your house monthly installment. These could in fact bring more benefit to you. I shall not complain the government for introducing this reduction but I would condemn whoever who thinks this move is unwise just because they couldn’t resist the temptation of spending off the 3% themselves.

After all, do you really know how well the EPF fund is being managed?

What's wrong with Lee Hom?

VERY WRONG!!!

One of his latest song which is supposed to be called "What's wrong with me", or better known as <摇滚怎么了> in Chinese. There's this one topic that I find it quite interesting so I thought it'll be nice to share it with my fellow readers.

As pointed that the cost of Iraq war is hitting USD1 trillion. Ever wonder what can USD1 trillion buy you?

Check out the below website introducing the book written by Rob Simpson, "What We Could Have Done With The Money".

Link

It also features a simple game which you can choose on how to spend the USD1 trillion. Very interesting; to briefly share with you, I could buy 10 each of the Porsche 911 Turbo and Saleen S7 (where's my SLK 200K?), 20 Bentley Azure Convertible Mulliner, 10 jets, 10 Air Force One 747, an airport of my own, 10 race track (ahh..my favourite..so that I can race my Porsches and Saleens all by myself..haha), some theme parks, casinos, blah blah blah...*phew*...It definitely takes up alot of your brain juice trying to figure out what to buy..haha..

Just in case you wonder, yes people...I did contribute some to charity with that USD1 trillion. :P

Finally! There’s this cam-whore who loves uploading her pictures in her Facebook site. Once in a while I would check them out as there are some pretty girls who would take pictures together with her..HAHA.. I always think that it is just outrageously fugly for her to be doing that everytime the camera is focusing on her and from the look of it she sure thinks her weird smile is like an angel’s. Come on bitch, this doesn’t apply to all girls. You would look decently nice without that stupid smirk on your face.

Some would think that I should just choose to not view her albums but I can’t. I have a habit of making myself miserable at times. :P

Guess I should stop now as this girl is supposed to be my dearest’s cousin’s husband’s cousin’s girlfriend. I actually emailed them yesterday and was told that its better to have them check on my Oakley since I was worried that it could be a fake.

A lady greeted me after some curious walk-around in their office for about 10 minutes and this was our conversation:

Me: Hi, I was told that I can send my Oakley here for an inspection to see if its fake or original. I bought it second hand from a local forum and I'm worried that it could be a fake unit.
Lady: Yeah sure! No problem, that would take a while. Please have a seat.
Me: a while? (I'm already late for work actually..:P) how long do I have to wait?
Lady: It would be just few minutes.(aiseh..then you should have just said a few minutes lor)

The verdict? its ORIGINAL! yay! but Revelstoke would not provide any service to me as there was no proof of purchase from their dealer. The warranty card which came with it did not have a stamp from the shop except for Revelstoke's stamp. They're not going to provide me any service even if I can pay them, but I guess its ok as I could easily get a replacement for a pretty low price if its really spoilt in the future *touchwood*

So whoever who wants to get an Oakley, make sure you take note on the warranty issue. There is no life time warranty as claimed by most people. If you purchase an Oakley from the authorized shop, you'd get a 1yr warranty and a life time part replacement with a fee..that explains why they are not willing to provide service to me even if I want to pay them.

I'm very happy with my Oakley definitely, especially the clearer view I get compared to my regular sunglasses. :P can't wait for my next pair!

New found Love...

Lately I’ve been hooked on to one of the world’s most popular eyewear, Oakley!

Again, I can never afford Oakley during my teenage time, I could only hope while feeling jealous with most of my mates who could afford it.

Went to Mid Valley last week to try out a few models but still couldn’t decide which to go with. I love the Gascan but it’s too small for my wide face. Tried on the Oil Drum, Oil Rig, Eyepatch, Fives 3.0, Conduct and Half Jacket but most do not look too good either. (In my own opinion lah since I was alone :P)

Until earlier today I saw someone posted a Fives 2.0 for sale in a local forum, I sms-ed the dude and met up with him later in the evening and viola! I’ve got my first Oakley! It’s a used one but the condition is pretty mint. Oakley has discontinued this model and it is rather difficult for me to spot if it’s a fake, it comes with a Revelstoke warranty card though, together with the usual box and microbag. Looked at every millimeter of the shades to make sure there’s no sign of defect/fake and it seems fine according to my googled results on how to spot fake/replica Oakley-s. The dude is kind enough to give me a week to get it verified in any optical shops.

Still not getting over with the Gascan, I’m planning to get another pair of Oakley. A brand new one! I shall decide soon!

Oakley US used to sell it at USD70 which would be about RM266 with direct conversion of USD1 = RM3.80. Which means it would be selling in Malaysia for about RM400++ back then. I paid RM190 for my Five 2.0. Some shops in the UK are selling it for GBP63. (If its in stock..hehe)

I’m pretty happy with it. Looking forward to my next pair! :P

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SQoMojLYGKI/AAAAAAAAAFM/qLrGMm3XjXc/s320/DSC00527.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5263033005313104034" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SQoMx-WfaLI/AAAAAAAAAFU/ituTBc0ynNI/s320/DSC00528.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5263033167226300594" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SQoM3-W8omI/AAAAAAAAAFc/jo7AIsoiOPs/s320/DSC00529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5263033270307431010" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_6_ah1AapM1A/SQoM9MbsDLI/AAAAAAAAAFk/UIUWsrnZ3Lw/s320/DSC00530.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5263033359984757938" />

Whisky or Brandy for you Sir?

Ever since I have the thoughts of selling off my ex mod-ed ride couple of years back, and being the usual greedy person that I am, I've always been looking for something to keep myself occupied other than my day job.

I started off my collection of whisky/brandy in 2006, thanks to a close friend who showed me his Absolut Vodka collection.
